journeys ~ As I write
this, I want to tell you all about the great spectrum of
experiences and feelings I have had since I have last sent
out to the list. (I know its been a while....a lot has
happened!) Since there is so much, and I don't want to talk
your ears off all at once, I think I will focus on just one
thing....
Environmental Responsibility. It's certainly a big interest
topic in many circles of conversation these days. The day I
noticed the Canadian social shift at large in
"eco-awareness" was, I have to admit one of the happiest
days of my life. I'm not kidding.
Bonsai Faery has always been
known for being environmentally friendly. But of late, I've
taken it one, okay maybe more, step further.
Soooo.... if you look on the
links page, you will see what is a currently modest, but
ever growing list of environmental links. Not much to do
with soap, you say... well, I beg to differ. ~Natural~ soap,
by theory, uses ingredients that Mother Nature has provided
us. I'd say that's being rather environmental. So, it's
really not a big leap to look at the bigger eco-picture, and
relish the joy of being extreme in such a great way!
And, as time goes on, you
will find more and more products made with organic
ingredients, but rest assured, no matter what, as always,
with natural, ethically produced ingredients.
In future publications, you
will find more information on eco-related issues, products
and initiatives from bonsai faery headquarters, and as
always, I invite feedback and would love some conversation
and stuff....
I'm just one person. And I
have often pondered, I am only one person, how can I make a
difference in something I believe in, something so large, as
changing a world of habits and destruction? There have been
days where I felt hopeless, helpless.... but now I realize
just this: I AM ONE PERSON!
And, you, like me, are "one
person" too. And, so is each of your family members,
friends, neighbors, co-workers...and on and on. My decision
to change my lifestyle to be even friendlier to the planet
that sustains me and my children should not be in any way
affected by yours....in fact, that should just compel me
even more to share my enthusiasm with you. If I can learn
from you, as I share what I know with you, then I consider
it a day well lived.

recent news
website updated!
lots up updates have
been made to the website ~ finally! there is still more to
go, but I will add them as I get the time... thank you
everyone for being so patient, I'm hoping now all the
glitches with paypal have been resolved. please let me know
if there's anything I've missed...
also, in updating the
website, I'm wondering if any of you fantastic folk would
